Berlin-based Air Berlin was a successful airline for many years. It was the second largest airline in Germany. Unfortunately, insolvency proceedings were then opened in August 2017. My personal regret reaches to this day, because with Air Berlin the connection in direct flight from Nuremberg to Mallorca was unbeatable. The picture with the tractor in garlic country symbolizes for me the down-to-earthness of the work and diligence of the vegetable farmers of garlic country.
The Vegetable Growers Association Knoblauchsland e.V. also published this picture in the Garlic Country Calendar 2020. Aleander Kantor, Erich Guttenberger and Michael Böllet were responsible for the photography in this calendar. The printing was done by Nova Druck Goppert GmbH.
