When we planned the Hotel Grüne Elster, then built it and put it into operation, we didn’t even think about future hotel guests from the soccer scene. Friends said, “You should court the footballers more, because you have a great location to the Sportpark Ronhof. Moreover, the Spielvereinigung is now first-class!”
Still we hesitated because we didn’t want to endanger our fancy new hotel by maybe noisy people, knowing well that this of course doesn’t apply to all fans. We ask for your understanding for this skepticism and initial attitude.
Today, however, we would like to report that we have already had many soccer fans as our guests. Without exception, all persons were very pleasant, clean, good-humored and friendly fellows. So far, we are therefore looking to the future with confidence. We are convinced that the relationship of give and take determines the balance and also generates mutual respect in the future. We provide spotlessly clean accommodation and in return we get back the exemplary treatment in our hotel. So we are also very happy to say thank you to our guests.
Of course, it’s also fun that there are already new bookings from away soccer fans. The Austrian couple will visit the Christkindlsmarkt in Nuremberg. Two other men will prefer the Christmas market on the Fürther Freiheit with Altstadtweihnachtsmarkt. We think the selection is great.
